CONNECT 2019

Prepare for a conference of exceptional training and networking located in Central Oregon. CONNECT 2019 will be held April 9-11 at the Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Oregon.

Spend three days with the top conservation professionals as they address today's natural resource challenges. You will go home with an increased knowledge of up-to-date technology and tools used to implement conservation, increase public education, manage your office, and partner to implement wildland fire management. CONNECT 2019 is focused on technical topics but continues to be open to everyone.

All materials, including up-to-date schedules, will be posted as they are available on the CONNECT 2019 page (https://oceanconnect.org/connect_2019.php).

Registration for CONNECT 2019 is $250 a person, which includes food and conference materials. Attendees can pay online or by mailing a check. If you are paying by check please mail your check as soon as possible after registering to OCEAN, PO Box 127, Heppner, OR 97836.

Attendees are responsible for their own lodging. There is a diversity of hotel rooms, condos and homes to rent during the conference. Go to https://www.destinationhotels.com/sunriver-resort/meetings/ocean to receive the CONNECT 2019 conference discount and see available options.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There will be parking available throughout Sunriver Resort to accommodate your needs.

Do I need to reserve hotel accommodations?

Yes. Registration does NOT include hotel accommodations.

What is the registration cutoff date?

To receive the early bird price for registration ($250) you must be registered by March 15th. After that date there will be a $50 fee added to registration. The cutoff for registration to CONNECT 2019 is 5PM Thursday, March 28th. We will not accept any registrations after this time.

Where do I send my payment if I selected "Pay by Check"?

If you are paying by check please make your check out to OCEAN and mail as soon as possible after registering to OCEAN, PO Box 127, Heppner, OR 97836.

What's the refund policy?

Cancellations for full refund must be requested by 5PM on Thursday, March 28th, after that refunds will no longer be offered. To cancel your registration, login to Eventbrite Attendee Account, access your registration, and request a refund. Step-by-step instructions can be found in Eventbrite's help section.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please bring your printed registration confirmation to the event. This confirmation will be used for check-in at the registration desk.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, you may update your registration information by logging into your Eventbrite Attendee Account and editing the contact information associated with your registration. Step-by-step instructions can be found in Eventbrite's help section.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Check-in and registration at the conference will go more smoothly if the registered name matches the attendee. You may transfer your registration.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, you may transfer your registration into another person's name by logging into your Eventbrite Attendee Account and editing the contact information associated with your registration. Step-by-step instructions can be found in Eventbrite's help section. We would prefer transfers be completed before Thursday, April 4th to ensure we have the correct name tags and to help check-in and registration go more smoothly.

How do I pay for organizational dues?

Since each organization has their own dues system we are not offering, at this time, to pay for dues on Eventbrite. OCEAN will accept checks at the registration desk if you or your organization would like to pay the 2019 $10 dues at the conference.
